The Pomeranian

Cheerful and friendly Pomeranians they are very intelligent. The size of the breed was reduced to its current size.(Toy size). Their ears tend to be naturally erect. They require about 20 minutes of daily exercise as they are very energetic dogs. Their life expectancy is about 12 to 16 years. They are very good companion animals. His hair is of medium length and smooth double coat. Pomeranians are easily recognizable by their fluffy double coat and fox-like face with alert, pointy ears. The body shape is quite square and the fluffy tail curls up and over its back. A thick collar of hair around the neck completes the appearance of a dog that can withstand the snowfalls of northern Germany. The head has a rather rounded shape with a very characteristic muzzle.

The Pomeranian have a wide variety of colors. Normally the bright red color is the most associated with the breed, His hair color being very varied, ranging from the mixed color better known as Party (that is,  black and white, cream and chocolate, etc...) through White, Black, Orange or Chocolate.

Pomeranians are generally cheerful and friendly little dogs.

They are very intelligent and usually do well in obedience competitions. As they get older, they are more likely to become full-fledged lap dogs.

Pomeranians tend to be good alert and alarm dogs and can be prone to excessive barking. Normally, they are good with children. Pomeranians are normally easy going dogs in terms of their coexistence. They are not prone to obesity, probably due to their active nature. Its double coat requires regular grooming at least once or twice a week, with daily sessions in the shedding season. If they are raised with children, they tend to accept them very well. We must warn children that these small dogs are not as resistant as other larger breeds, so their interactions must be supervised. They make great companions for the elderly because of their alert demeanor and small size.
